Gleirschalm

An ideal stroller hike for the first visit to the alpine pasture.

Here even the little ones can make it to the alpine pasture on their own.

Short & sweet

When temperatures rise above 30 degrees, we usually look for a cooler valley. A trip to the Gleirschalm in Sellraintal is ideal. The starting point is the paid parking lot in St. Sigmund. The hike to the Gleirschalm is very short (1.5 km at 150 m) and therefore perfect as a first hiking destination for children.

There is very tasty and fresh food on the mountain pasture and you have a great view of the mountains and the pastures where horses and cows graze.

Forest playground St. Sigmund

The playground is located 5 minutes from the parking lot just before the bridge towards Gleirschalm and offers two climbing towers with a slide, several swings, a seesaw, a tunnel, horizontal bars, wooden houses and a soccer field. There are a few shaded areas for snacking, but almost all of the play equipment is in the sun.
